Turbo Blowers
High-efficiency air from a single high-speed stage: small footprint, big kilowatt savings.

What they are
A single high-speed impeller on air or magnetic bearings, delivering large air volumes at high efficiency from a cabinet the size of a fridge. The right machine on big continuous aeration duties, and unforgiving of neglect.
What we do
- Specialist servicing and diagnostics, including controls and bearing systems.
- Repairs and health checks on installed fleets.
- Supply of new and refurbished turbo packages.
- Backup air while a turbo is down: hire lobe or screw sets sized to cover.
Getting the choice right
Turbos reward big, steady duties: high volumes, long hours, limited swings. Map your demand honestly before committing, because a turbo asked to run at the bottom of its range surges, and surge is the one thing these machines will not forgive.
Look just as hard at the support arrangements. Air-bearing and magnetic-bearing machines are superb until they need attention, and the difference between a supported machine and an orphan is measured in weeks of downtime.
What goes wrong
- Surge events: the operating point has drifted below the map, often after process changes nobody told the blower about.
- Control faults: plenty of turbo problems live in the cabinet, not the aerodynamics. Diagnostics first.
- Bearing system alarms: never run through them. A turbo fails expensively.
- Neglected inlet filters: a starved turbo pulls its inlet down and walks towards surge.
Typical duties
large-works aeration, high-volume process air.
