Associated Pipework & Accessories

Bellows, flexibles, valves and pipework to finish an installation properly.

What they are

The unglamorous parts that make an installation work: bellows and flexibles that soak up heat and vibration, isolation and check valves, and pipework that fits the machine rather than fighting it.

What we do

  • Discharge pipework, supports and connections.
  • Expansion bellows and flexible connectors.
  • Valves and manifolds for multi-blower sets.
  • Installation as part of supply and commissioning work.

Getting the choice right

Discharge pipework runs hot and it moves. Design for expansion with bellows and guided supports, keep the first bend a sensible distance from the discharge flange, and give every machine its own isolation so one service doesn't stop the set.

On multi-blower manifolds the valve arrangement decides whether the system can ever be maintained. It is far cheaper to get right during installation than to retrofit.

What goes wrong

  • Cracked welds and worked-loose supports: thermal movement with nowhere to go.
  • Bellows fatigue: flexibles are consumables, not fittings. Inspect at every service.
  • Vibration into the building steel: missing flexibles or seized supports.
  • Lines sized for a duty the plant outgrew: pressure loss you pay for on every running hour.
