Vacuum Pumps

Rotary vane, claw and screw vacuum for process, packaging and materials handling.

What they are

Rotary vane, claw and screw machines that pull rather than push. The right technology depends on what you are handling: wet or dry, clean or dirty, continuous or cyclic.

What we do

  • Servicing and repairs across vane, claw and screw types.
  • Overhauls with vane, seal and bearing kits.
  • New and refurbished supply matched to the process.
  • Central vacuum system advice and installation.

Getting the choice right

Start with what the pump has to swallow. Dry, clean air suits vanes and claws; wet or dirty processes need the technology chosen around the contamination, not fighting it. The wrong choice shows up as short vane life, seized claws or emulsified oil.

Then match the vacuum level and the cycle. A pump idling at deep vacuum all shift costs power that a demand-matched machine would save.

What goes wrong

  • Lost vacuum: system leaks outnumber worn pumps ten to one. We test before we quote.
  • Short vane life: vanes are a normal consumable, but sudden wear means ingestion or heat.
  • Oil turning milky: process moisture getting in. The pump needs attention and so does the process side.
  • Noisy claws: timing or bearing wear. Worth stopping for.

Typical duties

packaging, thermoforming, lifting and holding, process vacuum.
