Inlet Filters & Silencers
Clean, quiet air in: filtration and silencing sized to protect the machine and the neighbours.

What they are
The guards on the way in and out. Filtration protects tight clearances from dust; silencers knock the pulse and whine out of the airflow.
What we do
- Correctly sized filters and silencers for every major machine.
- Replacement elements as part of service kits.
- Upgrades where the original spec was never right.
- Advice on filtration for dirty or dusty sites.
Getting the choice right
Filtration is a trade between how clean and how restrictive. Size for the airflow with margin, spec the media for your dust, and fit a differential gauge so element changes happen on condition instead of guesswork.
Silencers have to suit the machine's pulsation and line size. An undersized silencer robs pressure; the wrong type just moves the noise somewhere else.
What goes wrong
- Blocked elements: the cheapest cause of hot, starved, underperforming blowers we ever find.
- Collapsed elements: dust straight into tight clearances, and ingestion damage follows.
- Silencer packing breaking down: absorption material can migrate into the machine or the process.
- Near-fit elements from a quick order: they leak around the seal and filter nothing. Verified parts only.
