Acoustic Enclosures

Canopies and enclosures that cut blower noise to site limits without cooking the machine.

What they are

Blowers are loud; sites have limits and neighbours. A proper enclosure cuts the noise without starving or overheating the machine inside.

What we do

  • Enclosures and canopies for new and existing machines.
  • Refurbishment: panels, foam, doors and fans on tired enclosures.
  • Noise-led surveys where a site has a complaint to close out.
  • Ventilation done right so the machine stays cool.

Getting the choice right

Start from the number you need at the boundary, not the number in a brochure. Attenuation, ventilation and access pull against each other in enclosure design, and a box that hits the noise figure while starving the machine has solved nothing.

For an existing complaint, measure first. Sometimes the answer is a full canopy; sometimes it's new door seals and a silencer at a tenth of the cost.

What goes wrong

  • The machine overheating inside: blocked ventilation, failed fans or foam collapsing into airways.
  • Noise rising over the years: door seals, loose panels and perished foam leak sound long before anything breaks.
  • Corrosion on outdoor canopies: cosmetic and cheap early, structural later.
  • Access so awkward nobody services the machine: an enclosure problem that quietly becomes a blower problem.

Typical duties
